About the Baker
 My name is Dana Iannelli. Growing up in Southern New Jersey, the Jersey shore was a second home where I made many memories with family and friends. There is no place quite like the seashore and for me, the best part was, and remains, the food! Spending many summers tasting every boardwalk treat, I knew I wanted to create my own desserts and dishes that could bring equal thrill, creativity, and taste to locals and guests just like me. Dedicated to my love for sugar and spice, I earned dual pastry and culinary degrees from The Culinary Institute of America. I have been fortunate to shape a career path where I have worked in bakeries across the nation, Private Country Clubs on the east coast, and for a New York Custom Cake Designer who inspired my design style and artistry. I have even competed on the Food Network’s Wedding Cake Championship. The journey has certainly been sweet.
Along the way, I found my calling: to make hearts smile with baked goodness. I am thrilled to be back in South Jersey where my dream began and to bake my dream into a reality!  Whether I am designing desserts for the cafe or brewing Lavazza for your daily wake-me-up latte, I know that in the end I create smiles and I create happiness. Fond memories can start with good food, and I am excited to bring a new menu to a town where my memories began. It is an honor to join a Jersey tradition of shore-inspired creations. I can’t wait to meet you at the Cafe!
